My girlfriend got home from work the other day to find her dog had gotten a bit bored and decided to feast on her Nintendo DS Lite. After the initial panic she brought it round mine and I noticed it was mainly the casing that had been damaged. There was also a big bite mark in the top screen and a couple of snapped cables. I checked the logic board and from what I can tell it seems to have survived! Talk about missing all major arteries!

What was left

I decided to go on eBay to see if you could buy a replacement housing, turns out you can. I’ve ordered a black one with a new top screen. Came to about £20 in total which isn’t too bad. Waiting for them to turn up now so I can get started on trying to revive the poor blighter.
