A picture portraying a MacBook Pro ‘Brick’ case was posted on a Chinese forum today. While all the rumors have been mentioning the MacBook, suddenly a picture of what is blatantly a 15″ styled MacBook Pro has been shown. Whether this is fake or not is unknown, but it does look accurate enough and is certainly on par with recently leaked pictures of the iPhone 3G case, and the new iPod Nanos.

Both MacRumors and EnGadget are running this story, with the former taking credit for finding the origin of the picture. As I reported earlier in the week, time is now running out for Apple to announce a media event, and it is now looking unlikely that there will be an October showing for these new case designs. Indeed AppleInsider have also joined in with my thinking that an event in unlikely and have posted recent event invite timetables.
